“4km west from Tulum” is a piece made of wenge and solid brass plated in Palladium. The wood has been brushed, bringing out a dark and powerful veining. The turned spheres reveal a hypnotic undulating pattern evoking ancient artifacts that contrasts with its smooth and polished base. The simplicity of its form and the darkness of its wood make it a piece that is at once brutal, modern and elegant.
